TAROT CARDS
I created this card series to illustrate the a story rather than simply recreating a set of tarot. I wanted to illustrate the concept of renewing something that is disrepair. In the case of these cards, I focused them around a person who has repressed memories of their childhood friend. They try to remember them, and as they do, they realize that their friend has died tragically which resulted in them repressing their memory of them because they were in love and never got the chance to tell them. Each card goes through the story to eventually join together for the final card which is only revealed through turning the cards and assembling them together.
